Our relaxation techniques are proven to help bring about the body’s relaxation response, characterized by slower breathing, lower blood pressure, and a reduced heart rate. These techniques are the opposite of the stress response, which can have a negative impact on your mental and physical health.
Here are some of the relaxation techniques:
Progressive Relaxation (Body Scan): This technique involves tensing different muscles in your body and then releasing the tension. By doing so, you can learn to recognize where you hold tension in your body and release it, resulting in the sense of calm and relaxation.

Rapid Relaxation: This technique involves learning to focus on your breathing and relaxing your body. You can calm your mind and body by focusing on your breathing and consciously relaxing your muscles.

Mindfulness of Breath: This technique starts with mindfulness of sounds, moving into the mindfulness of breath. By learning to focus on your breath and being present in the moment, you can reduce stress and anxiety and improve your mental health.
